Sebelle Salon

EMVY Design had the opportunity to work on the exciting transformation of a basement space in Wollongong City Centre. This project  involved converting a heritage-listed basement space into a stylish and functional salon. EMVY Interior Designers Wollongong – Sebelle Salon design embraced a timeless monochromatic colour scheme, with an emphasis on elegance, ensuring the space would remain both modern and enduring.

The design process focused on creating an environment that was not only visually appealing but also sustainable and cost-effective. By incorporating reclaimed furniture and materials, the team was able to deliver an environmentally conscious fit-out while staying within budget constraints. The use of these upcycled materials added character and charm to the space, blending seamlessly with the salon’s modern aesthetic. This approach not only adhered to sustainability principles but also aligned with the salon’s commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

A crucial aspect of this project was the collaboration between EMVY Design, the salon owners, and Wollongong Central’s GPT Group management. Despite the challenges of working within the confines of a heritage-listed building on Globe Lane, the team was able to meet a tight six-week timeline and deliver a superb retail fit-out. This required careful planning and coordination to ensure that all design elements were in line with both the aesthetic goals and the building’s heritage requirements.

The result is a sophisticated and functional salon space that serves as a perfect example of how Interior Designers Wollongong – Sebelle Salon can blend timeless design with sustainability and practicality. The project showcases the team’s ability to transform challenging spaces into beautiful, high-performing environments.
