Beachside Home Renovation – Bulli, NSW

Nestled in the coastal suburb of Bulli, NSW, this stunning renovation reimagines a classic 1960s Beachcomber-style home, transforming it into a contemporary coastal retreat. The project focused on modernizing the home while preserving its mid-century character, with a full façade redesign, updated interiors, and newly designed kitchen, bathrooms, and ensuite.

The exterior was given a fresh new look with timber cladding and stacked stone, creating a warm and inviting street presence. These natural materials enhance the home’s coastal aesthetic while ensuring durability against the harsh seaside elements. Large windows and sliding doors were incorporated to maximize natural light and take advantage of ocean breezes, reinforcing the home’s connection to its surroundings.

Inside, every space was carefully redesigned to reflect modern coastal living. The new kitchen is the heart of the home, featuring sleek cabinetry, stone benchtops, and high-end appliances. The open-plan layout flows seamlessly into the dining and living areas, creating a spacious, airy atmosphere perfect for entertaining.

The bathrooms and ensuite were reimagined with a spa-like feel, featuring floor-to-ceiling tiles, contemporary fixtures, and luxurious finishes. Soft, neutral tones complemented by timber accents maintain a relaxed and sophisticated aesthetic throughout the home.

This Bulli renovation successfully modernizes a beloved Beachcomber home, blending timeless mid-century design with contemporary coastal luxury.
